The dragon, I love. The rest was done very sparsely because I was too attached to it, and didn’t want to risk messing up, which is the danger of getting too attached to a piece, something I’m trying to avoid.

Sitting outside with Barbie and the cats I decided I needed to paint. I’d thought about doing a monorail piece in the past, but was hesitant because of the constraints I’ve put on how I should do art. Wrong answer! I need to just do it. If I feel like doing a refined monorail painting in the future, I can take what I’ve learned from this and apply it there. Everything I do will build towards betterment.
Because I just started this without measuring out my usual 2.5 3.5 ACEO preferred size, it’ll be cut to 3 x 5.

I’m happy with this. Every THC experience is different, so it’s… different. Maybe I should draw these out and try and tighten them up a bit… naw!
Not especially fond of this upon completion, it’s grown on me. It almost looks like a combination of the Castle Cake from WDW’s 25th and from a couple of weeks ago when this was taken.

I also did this watercolor yesterday. I’d been trying to come up with a graphic solution to doing the dome that is Spaceship Earth, and since I had watercolors out already for the Tiki Room piece, I just went for it. The sphere came out much too small, so I cut it down to ACEO size, to try and offset this size deficiency. Barbie liked the original, while I’m happier with the cut down version.

Where to begin?
I was on anti-depression/anxiety medication for years, and felt it never worked. Extremely long story short, I’m off of them and on THC. It’s working and it has helped let down my defenses artistically at last!
Will this continue? The artistic inclinations, I mean. Which is why there is a question mark in the title.
I started with this watercolor, based on a photo I took at The Enchanted Tiki Room at Walt Disney World.
I cut this down to 5 x 7.
