I was in New Orleans a couple of months ago, and I thought it was a fantastic city. Last night my wife and I re-watched Disney's "The Princess and the Frog", a fantastic movie, and I was really inspired. The Saint Louis Cathedral in Jackson Square in the French Quarter is a beautiful piece of architecture.

My intention for these cards, besides being a gift for my cousin-in-law Jill, was to do 4 very different designs for a card set. I wanted to go from very simple to very ornate. I wound up going from one extreme to the next between the 1st and this print.

I wanted to remove the background, leaving just the can on the bench, but my wife encouraged me not to. It's her favorite of the 4 watering cans.

I did 5 prints this weekend.
The 4 watering cans are for my wife's cousin Jill, who has been creating and photographing cards using my prints and listing them on Etsy, as well as photographing Hallowthanksmas cards to list on Ebay.
